Welcome to the School of Political Studies!
Created by the University of Ottawa in December 2003, the School is a mecca for the study of politics. Through both disciplinary and interdisciplinacy approaches, the School of Political Studies fosters an in-depth knowledge of the phenomena of power and authority, opposition and resistance, in their various forms, at the local, national and international level.

- Congratulations to Isabelle Bernard, Ph.D. student of Political Science, one of the 166 recipients of the new Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships. Thesis "La différance entre démocratie et autorité: étude du paradoxe ghanéen".

Congratulations to Dominic Villeneuve, second year undergraduate student in public administration who has been accepted to the prestigious program in political leadership at the Washington Center in DC. His 10 weeks internship program will be completed with the lobbyist firm Ball Janick LLC. He will participate directly in the Federal legislative process on issues related to affordable housing for the city of Portland, Oregon.
