At a time where globalization in all its forms is becoming more and more important, your studies abroad will undoubtedly be an asset in your job search. We propose three easy ways to get there :
International Internships: Confront the realities faced by developing countries and refine your knowledge in the area of international development. Internships are 12 weeks in length. There is a place for you whether you are studying in DVM, ECH, SVS, ECO, Economics and international development, or for that matter any other program at the Faculty of Social Sciences.
Field Research Courses: Each year, during the month of May the Faculty of Social Sciences offers courses in four different countries. On site, with your professor, you will attend conferences by professionals and professors, visit a variety of local organizations and meet with stakeholders from the hosting country. You will also have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities that will enrich your training.
International Exchange: The University of Ottawa has signed over 200 agreements in over 40 countries. Over 150 students from the Faculty of Social Sciences benefit earch year. Take advantage of our Student Mobility Bursaries.
