This year again, the University of Ottawa organizes an unforgettable welcome week for new students of the 2009-2010 academic year. Welcome week is an exciting way to explore the university world and to engage in stimulating activities that will start your student life on a positive note.

Information Kiosk

Tabaret Lawn, 550 Cumberland
An information kiosk will be set-up on Tabaret Lawn during the President’s Brunch. Come and ask us any questions you have about the programs offered by the Faculty of Social Sciences. We will be there to help you!
Mandatory Faculty Information Sessions
Come get your Key to Success, a USB key containing useful tools to complete your coursework, helpful websites to aid in your studies and even sample title pages for your assignments.
This information session will also give you the chance to meet faculty staff, to ask questions, and to attend a presentation of your program that will offer advice on how to succeed in your courses.

Activities of the Students’ Association of the Faculty of Social Sciences
